Permanent Magnet Alternator

Small permanent magnet alternators often fitted to small tractors and mini diggers etc, but useful for other applications where space is limited and not much power needs to be generated. A choice of two units available. 14A or 22A @ 12V. Both start working at approximately 1200rpm.

Approximate dimensions below:

14A - 2 fixing holes on 118mm centres (one tapped M8, the other 8mm clearance). Approximate body diameter 90mm, pulley diameter 65mm (for 10mm wide, Z section belts). Total depth including pulley 82mm. Weighs 1.35kg.

22A - 2 fixing holes on 155mm (one tapped M8, the other 8mm clearance). Approximate body diameter 115mm, pulley diameter 65mm (for 10mm wide, Z section belts). Total depth including pulley 76mm. Weighs 1.7kg

Both alternators also require a voltage regulator, which is available separately (PMA-REG). Connecting the regulator requires a 6 way connector. A suitable kit to do this is also available (PMA-REG CK).
