Cosworth/Type 9 Gearbox

High torque starter motor to fit the Cosworth YB, CVH & Zetec fitted with the standard 135 tooth ring gear, when mated to a Ford Pinto/RS type bell housing.

Originally the Ford starter had a 10 tooth 27mm pinion. These starters have an 11 tooth 29mm pinion, offset slightly. The net effect is an even faster cranking speed, on top of that provided by the high torque starter motor.
