Bentley 3 & 4.5 litre

12V Dynator to replace dynamos fitted to 3 Litre and 4.5 Litre Bentleys. Produces 50A compared to the original and weighs approximately half as much. Approximately 240mm long x 130mm diameter. Has tacho drive on rear face. Negative earth.

Please note: Originally the dynamo in these cars was driven from the end of the camshaft, meaning that they turned at half crankshaft speed. Alternators start charging at approximately 1100 rpm, meaning that the alternator will not start charging until the engine turns at approximately 2200rpm. 

To get over this issue, WOSP have developed a 'High Output Low Speed' version of the unit. This starts working at approx 800 rpm and quickly develops up to 80A. This part is LMDBEN001-HO-LS. The Graphs attached shows the performance of these two units.
