  1. Prices
    Prices in this list are liable to alteration without notice, and orders are accepted at Prices ruling at day of despatch, even though we may receive a priced order. VAT charged at current U.K. rate.
  2. Carriage
    Prices Nett Ex Works, plus Carriage, Packing and Insurance. Goods will be dispatched by the cheapest method unless requested to use a specific method.
  3. Damages, Shortages and Non-Delivery
    We will not accept any claim in respect of damage in transit, shortage or non-delivery unless written notice is given to the Company and to the Carrier by the consignee as follows:-
    For damage in transit - within 3 days of the receipt of the goods.
    For shortages - within 3 days of the receipt of the goods.
    For non-delivery - within 10 days of the date of the invoice.
  4. Back Orders
    Back orders will be held until goods are available and then sent on unless we advise to the contrary.
  5. Refused Parcels
    If all, or part, of a consignment is refused because it is damaged, we must be notified immediately, in order to be able to claim on our carriers. Damaged post parcels should not be refused, but taken in and notified to us immediately.
  6. Liability
    The Company shall be under no liability for any loss or damage howsoever arising resulting from the use, or conversion, of the goods supplied and the Customer will indemnify the Company in respect of any claim brought by a third party against the Company in respect of such loss or damage, providing always that nothing herein shall exclude any liability of the Company where such exclusion of liability is prohibited, void, or unenforceable under English Law.
  7. Return Of Goods
    If for any reason you are not satisfied with the supplied goods, return them to us within 10 working days and we will give you a full refund. Alternatively, the returned items can be exchanged for goods to the same value.
  8. Letter/Parcel Responsibility
    In all cases of letters or parcels sent via the Post Office or any other agency, the Post Office or such agency act for the sender, and any late or non-delivery is the responsibility of the sender.
  9. U.K. Payments
    All payments should be made direct to the Company by cheque or by: Mastercard, Solo, Connect, Delta and Visa.
    Re-presented or 'Bounced' Cheques & 'Missed' Bankers Order Payments
    Every time a cheque fails to clear your Bank on presentation, we will separately surcharge your account with £10.00.
  10. Specifications
    We reserve the right to modify specifications according to the supply position or our desire to improve designs.
  11. Retention of Title
    (a) Ownership of all the goods supplied by the Company shall remain vested in the Company and shall not pass to the Buyer until payment in full for all such items has been made.
  12. Catalogue
    No liability can be accepted for errors or misprints. No part can be reproduced in any form without prior permission of Auto Electric Supplies Limited.
  13. Choice of Items
    It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the selected goods are suitable for their chosen application. Auto Electric Supplies can take no responsibility or liability for misuse of the goods supplied.
  14. Description of Goods
    All item descriptions and illustrations are merely intended to present an idea of the goods for sale. As suppliers to Auto Electric Supplies may change the design or materials used in their products, Auto Electric Supplies Limited reserves the right to change without notice the designs and/or materials used in the products supplied by it, provided that the specification of the goods is not compromised.
