Ordering online
When you see a product you like simply type in the quantity you wish to buy and click the 'Buy' button.
You can view 'Your Basket' at any time by clicking the 'Basket' button at the top of the page.
Your Basket page:
You can remove items from your basket by entering a quantity of '0' next to the product and clicking the 'Update' button or by clicking on the waste bin icon.
You can change the quantity of each product. Remember to click the 'Update' button.
When you have finished shopping click the 'Place secure order' button.
Either login using details from an existing account (if you have forgotten your password click on the link and we will send it to you) or create a new account at AES.
If you are a new customer please enter your invoice and delivery details. If you are returning customer you can choose existing addresses to use for invoices and deliveries or add new ones.
Choose the delivery method you would like to use.
Choose your method of payment: either securely online using a credit or debit card or create an easy to print order to send by fax or post.
Enter you credit or debit card details. We accept Switch Maestro, Mastercard, Solo, Connect, Delta and Visa. This is a secure system. We do not store your credit card details on our server after payment for your order has been processed.
Review your order and add notes if you would like to.
Click the 'Place order' button to complete the transaction.
You will be sent an email message with your order details. We will also send notification to you by email when you order has been despatched.
Ordering by phone
Simply call 01584 819552 between the hours of 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Thursday or 9.00am and 4.00pm on Fridays (excluding Bank Holidays). When ordering, have the quantities and part numbers you require and your credit/debit card details ready. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Connect, Switch Maestro and Solo.
You can phone outside the above hours and leave your order and credit/debit card details on the answerphone; your order will be processed the next working day.
Please note: For Next Day service, orders placed by 1.00pm will be despatched the same day provided the goods ordered are in stock. Please see Delivery for prices.
Ordering by post
Either fill in the order form or generate a pre-filled order online. Send it together with credit/debit card details or payment (either cheque or postal order made payable to 'Auto Electric Supplies Limited') to:

Delivery
Delivery – UK MainlandStandard service
Up to £100 (exc. VAT) is £3.75
Over £100 (exc. VAT) is FREE
Goods will be despatched as soon as possible, subject to stock levels and cleared payment. Postage for orders under £100 (before VAT) will be charged at £3.75, orders over £100 have free delivery. The majority of packages will be despatched by post, but heavier packages (over 1.25kg) will be despatched by Courier (Parcel Force) and will require a signature on delivery. Most standard deliveries arrive within 2 - 3 days.
Next Day serviceUp to 30kg: £6.55
Goods must be ordered before 1pm for this service. Packages will be despatched on the same days as the order is placed, subject to stock levels and cleared payment. Packages are sent either by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by Courier (Parcel Force 24) and will require a signature on delivery. Although the vast majority of Next Day Deliveries will arrive the next working day, please note that this service is not guaranteed and parcels are only dispatched Monday to Friday and not on Saturdays.
Delivery – UK Non Mainland (Northern Island, Channel Isles, Scilly Isles, IOM, Scottish Highlands/Islands)
Carriage will be charged at £1.00 plus cost subject to a minimum charge of £3.25. The method chosen for despatch is dependent on the weight and/or value of the goods ordered, and will either be by post or by Courier (Parcel Force). Please note that a next day service is not available to Scottish Highlands and Islands.
Overseas deliveryoods will be despatched as soon as possible, subject to stock levels and cleared payment. Postage will be charged at £1.50 + cost subject to a minimum charge of £3.25. The method chosen for despatch is dependent on the weight and/or value of the goods ordered, and will either be by Airmail or by Courier (Parcel Force).
Returns policy
If you want to return a product simply send the unused product back to us in the original packaging to:

Please note that cut lengths of cable, sleeving, etc cannot be returned.

If you have a complaint about our services or products please contact Customer Services. All complaints will be dealt with in a fair and confidential manner. It is our policy to acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and we will endeavour to resolve the dispute within 30 days, keeping you informed along the way.
